Memorable Breakfast: The continental breakfast at the hotel was a delightful surprise. The freshly baked croissants were so light and fluffy, they practically floated off the plate. The homemade jams were bursting with flavor, like a symphony of fruit in my mouth. It was like having breakfast in a cozy French patisserie.
Steep Stairs: The only downside was the stairs to our room. They were a bit steep, especially for someone with dodgy knees.

A charming B&B with a beautiful garden, great for lounging with a glass of wine. The continental breakfast was a treat, and the dinner option was fantastic. Loved the satellite TV in the room.
I didn't dislike anything. It was all perfect, just as I expected from a 17th-century half-timber house in the middle of the forest.

I always stay at this charming place in Rosay-sur-Lieure. The staff were so kind when they gave me a hot drink on my first visit. It has everything I need: internet, parking, outdoor dining, coffee shop. I love it here and I'm coming back for my holiday.

Our stay at La Roseraie Du Prieure was truly enchanting. The charming half-timber house nestled in the forest created a magical atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The attention to detail in the room, from the embroidered bedsheets to the array of amenities, was impeccable. The hosts, Alex and François, were exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. The meals prepared by Alex, a talented chef, were nothing short of extraordinary, surpassing anything we've experienced in top restaurants. Breakfast was a delightful feast, with homemade bread, croissants, and fresh fruit from the garden. The warmth and care shown by the owners made us feel like cherished guests. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as low beams and a sloping roof, these quirks only added to the charm of the old house. we wholeheartedly recommend La Roseraie Du Prieure for a truly exceptional experience.

Lovely garden and terrace, but too bad they didn't serve cocktails. Nice continental breakfast, but I ate enough for a family. Convenient location, but too close to Notre-Dame Cathedral of Rouen.
Watch out for the low ceiling, unless you're into head bumps.

The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, ensuring that we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. They even took the time to accommodate my special dietary requirements, and the meals they prepared for us were superb. The location was peaceful and picturesque, exactly what we were looking for. The room itself was well-appointed and had everything we needed, including a modern bathroom and a comfortable bed. We particularly enjoyed the extensive selection of unique teas. The homemade breakfast with delicious jams and fresh croissants was the perfect start to our day. We only wished we could have stayed longer to explore more of the beautiful surroundings. It's a shame we didn't speak French, as we would have loved to chat more with the friendly owners.
No complaints whatsoever! 🌟

Low beam and winding stairs.

I recently spent my Easter break at a charming, quirky hotel run by a delightful couple who made me feel like a friend rather than just a guest. The owners, Monsieur and Madame, were warm and welcoming, and it was clear that they truly enjoyed having guests. One of the best aspects of my stay was the homemade breakfast, with everything from croissants to jams made by Monsieur, who is a retired pastry chef. Another fantastic feature was the location of the hotel - nestled in a quiet and peaceful village, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
While there were a few minor inconveniences, they were easily outweighed by the positive experience. The attic room had a narrow spiral staircase which made it a bit challenging to carry my suitcase up, and the low ceilings required some careful navigation.
